"Ine"
Acrylic, 5" X 5" X 5/8" Wood block
"Ine" - pronounced "ee-nay" - means an ear of rice in Japanese. It is an old fashioned name for girls, since rice was a very important food, equivalent to wealth and prosperity in the old days.
