When you go to a Shinto shrine, you can get your fortune told using a paper slip called Omikuji. When the fortune is bad, you can tie the paper to a tree in the shrine. If it is good, then you can keep it for yourself. It seems like Hana's Omikuji was a good one - she's keeping it!
